DTMF stands for dual-tone multi-frequency technology. DTMF, better known as touch-tone, is a system of signal tones used in telecommunications.There are twelve DTMF signals, each of which is made up of two tones. DTMF is often used in remote control applications that typically use telephones.
DTMF technology is used to control the robots using telephone or mobile phone key pad.
The DTMF decoder decode the dual frequency signal and respond accordingly.
Each key of phone may be assigned a special function for the robot and robot can be controlled remotely.
